WHAT I LOVE

So my love for photography was born on the day I got my hands on Polaroid when I was about 13, but my love for design began in high school. I studied Fine art at high school, 6th form and then 1 year at Teesside University. I always thought that's what I wanted to do, but only at Teesside I have realised that I was studying the wrong subject. I have never been a painter or a sculptor... I was always in to photography, editing, and COLLAGES!

THIS GUY:  Robert Rauschenberg, got me into it.

After collages, it was all about illustration!!!
Aubrey Beardsley, was my big inspiration.

Beardsley connected me to Art Nouveau and posters which eventually led to typography!

MY FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHERS

Okay, so first of all I love photography and there is a lot of photographers that I could mention..
But I will try and choose top 3 photographers.

So number 1, it would have to be......KRISTIAN SCHULLER.. especially his 90 Days One Dream project. It's just magical.

He is a fashion photographer, and usually includes motion in his work.

So number two, would have to be... JILL GREENBERG. This woman has balls and she's is not afraid to break boundaries! Her work includes pictures of children ( exhibition End Times) crying their eyes out, which was quite controversial. Some people might say it's weird to give toddlers a lollipop and take it away to make them cry and take pictures of them, but the thing is Jill had an idea, she asked some people if they would allow her do that to their kids, and she also paid them.. and it's not child abuse really..  I mean having a lollipop taken away from you for like a minute is not similar to cigarette burns or starvation!

number 3 would be Jaumes Nachtwey, a photojournalist. He was quite controversial too. He showed people  what wars/attacks actually do to the victims...

13” x 19” in • Limited Edition of 150 prints • Free shipping on all domestic orders
I painted this piece in my old bedroom before making the move San Francisco to pursue a creative life. While I liked the piece fine, my growing fanbase loved it, and so I followed a spark that continued to grow. I got increasingly more comfortable with sharing my work to an audience, to the internet. Not long after, this piece was picked up by Urban Outfitters and was carried in their stores nationwide, which was incredibly exciting for me. So I continued sharing my work at all stages and processes along the way.
I create art for my own fulfillment, it is my meditation, my quiet but persistent prayer, but I am so grateful every single day that others seem to enjoy the process as well. It allows me the freedom to continue following the waves of inspiration and for those to watch as my work is ever evolving and growing, with me close behind, or in front, i’m not sure. So, my team and I have decided to release this old classic, with other classics to come soon! ♥ ♥ Thank you for everything.
